woke up , ran to the shower to wash away a bad dream.
who were those people?
it looked like you and me, but there's no way we would be like that, act like that.
thankfully just a dream
came back to ensure reality, again
holding on, yes you're real
thank goodness

someone I know lost their life this week
amazing how quickly everything is shoved
back into perspective
reminding you that you love people
and that whatever it is, it isn't so bad

also makes you hope there is more
something after, something bigger
somewhere happier, easier

it was all an accident
so fast, so quickly
no goodbyes
just 'her time'
seems unfair
it never seems fair
especially those left to remember
